Bagnaia Optimistic as 2024 Ducati MotoGP Bike Impresses in Testing

Francesco Bagnaia, the reigning MotoGP world champion, is exuberant about the performance of the 2024 Ducati MotoGP bike, describing it as "working perfectly" and boasting improvements across all aspects compared to its predecessor.

During this week's Qatar test, Bagnaia dominated both days, setting an impressive record time of 1m50.952s on Tuesday, leading teammate Enea Bastianini by 0.120s.

The 2024 Ducati also showcased its strength during the opening test of the year in Malaysia, leaving Bagnaia thrilled with its performance in Qatar.

Despite his optimism, Bagnaia remains cautious, acknowledging that success in testing doesn't always translate to race weekends. He highlighted the significance of testing soft tires and simulating sprint scenarios, expressing satisfaction with the bike's incredible performance.

While acknowledging the unpredictable nature of race weekends, Bagnaia emphasized the positive feedback from testing and expressed pride in the speed demonstrated by both himself and teammates Enea Bastianini and Jorge Martin on the 2024 Ducati.

Looking ahead to the season opener in Qatar next month, Bagnaia conveyed confidence in the direction finalized by the Ducati team for the 2024 bike. He expressed contentment with the team's decisions and the overall feel of the bike, emphasizing the importance of a strong connection between rider and machine.

As Bagnaia eagerly anticipates the upcoming race in Qatar, his enthusiasm reflects the promising performance of the 2024 Ducati MotoGP bike and sets the stage for an exciting season ahead.
