Marc Marquez is expected to make a comeback by increasing his training during the MotoGP summer break. The eight-time world champion is doing his best by riding on total capacity after returning from a nine-month layoff at Portimao at the beginning of the year.
Marquez marked a sensational victory at Sachsenring before two races ago. He is also thankful for the five-week break. The break made him feel ‘better’ and ‘stronger’ with heading towards the half of 2021.
He said that he enjoyed and relaxed the summer break with his friends and family. He further added that it was not only good for his mind but also for his body that is making him feel better and stronger now.
He increased his training during the break, spent more time on bikes, and even return riding to motocross that he enjoyed a lot.
He further stated that the situation on the tracks will not be that simple, and to win he need to keep working hard and stay more focused. He is looking forward and feels incredible if he rides his Honda RC213V with complete grandstands again.
Marquez’s teammate, Pol Espargaro, has also been working hard before the nine final races. He is anticipating that the second half of the season will “show the potential we know we have.’
Although Espargaro has been relatively clumsy so far, along with the Red Bull Ring being the strongest circuit historically by Honda he will be able to secure the first position in the top five in Repsol colors with the perfect venue.
Espargaro is excited for his comeback while he said that it has been a long time he was away from the track and he is hoping to return for riding his Honda again. He also stated about the training they are doing the whole summer and his preparation for the end of the year.
Moreover, he said that the Red Bull Ring is a unique circuit with several hard braking and accelerating that he thinks are suitable for them. He said that it looks like they are going to have entire grandstands for the first time in Austria. He is excited to see his fans and more people at the circuit soon.
He said that though they didn’t have the effortless start to the season, it’s time to keep the focus and show the potential they think they have.
The comeback of Marc Marquez and his teammate Pol Espargaro is going to be very exciting for their fans as well as the people in love with MotoGP races.
